The woman who has accused three Duke University men's lacrosse players of raping her failed to identify at least one of them in a photo array eight days after the reported attack, according to a motion filed Friday by defense attorneys. The motion also says that she then selected him as an attacker more than two weeks later.

I think you are right.
Nifong could also bust them up in his responses to the Motions - ensuring he countered with damaging info in the Motion response, which will go public.
Thanks
I guess I shoould have clarified that. Those of us who point out the facts are CALLED racists.
No problem. I understood what you were saying. I am certainly foggy on the other sides reaction to facts. I don't think there is a snowballs chance in a frying pan of ever solving the problems as long as the people that are impacted by the facts fail to accept them and do something about them.
Precisely. If there were a father and a mother in each and every household, it would be a good start.
EXACTLY!!!
Is there a chance that Simeon will file as a write-in candidate for DA? He lost big in 2002.
;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;
I don't think for this election, but I think something tawdry is planned. It would benefit Simeon for Nifong to move on to bigger and better things after the trial. I think political aspirations are one of Nifong's motives and MONEY is what's driving Simeon. It's Ugly in Durham, I know that.
Here's a link to a published article acutally detailing how Simeon and Nifong have got together to work on his reelection AFTER Kim Roberts was given special treatment:

At this point in time I am afraid that is far to much to hope for though. It is hard to turn around 40+ years of backward thinking.
Many people do not realize we living through a new SALEM era, where I ACCUSE is having the same devastating and incurable effects.
There is an epidemic of false reports of assault, sexual and otherwise, and it is the weapon women who lack power often use to gain the upper hand.
Many young men are being destroyed by it. Rape is terrible, but even more terrible is being accused of it wrongly.
He knows plenty about this case. It has been laid out in front of him numerous times on tv. He just chooses to spread the liberal line on a case where he shouldn't. There has been times where both he and Hannity have agreed on something. They can do it here. This case is showing what kind of man Colmes is and it isn't anything to be proud of.
Colmes is promoting the new mantra of Crystal's supporters - she should have her day in court.
That is all they have. They don't care what this costs the state. They don't care how much it costs the defendants. They don't care the FA has ruined innocent peoples lives. If this case does go forward and the defendants win, Colmes and the rest of the feminatzis that were on tv, are not going to give the boys any of the blood money they earned on tv claiming these boys did it to pay off their legal bills.
It appears John McCann is as big as a ahole as John McCain.
Because Nifong needs the Ho.
I was wondering about the "write-in" possibility in NC/Durham. Is it available and, if so, under what parameters is a "write-in" candidate eligible to take office (assuming they win)? Bottom line, would Freda Black be able to win via "write-in" votes?
Or how many real victims don't get the searches, investigations, and prosecution they deserve because this FRAUD of a case is Durham's Priority number 1.
There are people getting hurt her other than the lacrosse players and their families. There's only so much court time, preparation, investigation, and lab time to go around.
This case has even kept the City Manager busy. A least one kid in Durham Died of Lead Poisioning from Durham's Tap water, but Patrick Baker is running around reinterviewing Police that have already filed reports and know how to do their jobs.
NIFONG: Well, again, I havecertainly one of the theories that I've heard is that the woman who was not inside was the person who made that call. And again, I don't really intend to comment on any of that to the extent that any of that is relevant. That is evidence that will be heard at trial.
ABRAMS: Have you identified the person who made the 911-call?
NIFONG: Have I personally identified...
ABRAMS: Yes.
NIFONG: Do I know if the...
ABRAMS: Do you know who it is?
NIFONG: ... to my knowledge thatI do not.
ABRAMS: OK. So that person has not come forward to say I was the one who made the call.
NIFONG: To my knowledge, no one has done that yet.
So, on March 31, Nifong is saying he doesn't know who made the first 911 call? Is there anything in the discovery to contradict that claim?

All you say is true. We grew up thinking that if someone who is innocent is accused, a committed judge, or prosecutor, or investigator would see to it that justice was done. They were supposed to be on the side of justice, not on the side of whoever claimed they were hurt.
But it doesn't work like that, even when the police find out they're off base in investigation. They fear civil suits, so they tend to avoid apologizing for wrongly accusing someone or otherwise dealing with it appropriately. And ego plays a role. DAs tend to think everyone accused is guilty of something, so they all deserve punishment of some kind.
One would be to file as an unaffiliated candidate, which would require getting the signatures of about 6,400 registered voters by June 30. The other would be to register as a write-in candidate, in which case the person's name would not appear on the ballot. But that would require only 100 signatures.
But under a "sore loser" clause in the law, neither Black nor Bishop could file as an unaffiliated or write-in candidate.

That is why we must all begin to watch out for each other. We must all rally to the aid of those unjustly harmed. It isn't just about the poor Iraqis, the poor Africans. If this nation goes down, who will the poor Iraqis and Africans turn to? If this nation cannot get its moral compass fixed in the near future, who will defend the defenseless? If blacks in America cannot move forward, they will be trampled under. There's a hungrier, more dedicated class of immigrants -- no, not just Mexicans -- from all over the world who will take the places that should have been theirs. Nobody seems to get it. It's like talking to a wall.
I and my husband have spent our lives believing in civil rights. He in the brokerage business and then in education - trying to educate the disadvantaged, and I in the law. I'm in Immigration Law (something I hesitate to disclose, lately). We have been wounded beyond measure by what is happening and has happened to us. May God help this country if families like ours can be thrown to the lions.
