I wonder why the 43 other lacrosse players don't file a lawsuit agains Crimestoppers for showing their pictures all over the community as if they are all being accused? Why should Crimestoppers be exempt?

Weren't they wearing their Lacrosse uniforms? That would be a HUGE faux pas. Top hats should be worn with the rape jackets.

I hope they sue everyone possible that's been involved in this disgusting mess. I don't know if they will ever get their names back when this is over. But maybe the city, the DA's office, the university & everyone else will think twice about this ever happening again.

Thanks for the ping, GAgal; it's interesting to read the differing news organization start to report on this matter.

I think it was Kim/Nikki/ho, who called him "the little skinny one" during one of her interviews.

You have to read pretty deeply into that story to see that the DA's silence for two months followed up lots of early talk.

You're right. Pretty soon she'll say it was the cop who tried to rape her. And I'll bet that is exactly what happened. She threatened the cop with rape if he committed her. He then took her to a hospital to make sure he was cleared of the possibility.
When she got there, she started babbling rape....but not to the cops that had brought her there. Then she figured it wouldn't work and instead switched to the Duke boy story. One way or another, she was going to get out of being committed to a rehab center or drunk tank. It worked.
Funny, that "3" became and important number....the same number she used years ago in another "rape" claim. And then there's the "3"-boyfriend and two drivers??
Wonder how many times she has "feigned" rape for her clients. A favorite male fantasy, yes? She must have this trauma down pat by now.

Maybe one of the reasons Nifong wants to delay the trail so he can say the nurse has lots more experience now and still stands by her original "diagnosis."

I was glad they included Nifong's "If I were them I wouldn't want to face me either" delusional remark.

I bet CGM was just picking anyone she had a slight recollection of.
How about this for a possibility. The team photo that has been circulating has the players in alphabetical order and Evans photo is right next to Finnerty's. Maybe she got a hold of the team photo and remember the one next to Finnerty. Of course there are other scenarios like picking the richest players. You can never count out a coughing cop scenario. Then there is the are you sure he isn't the one scenario. Maybe the ho was just getting tired of looking at pictures and just picked one. Or maybe the ho just threw darts at a dart board with the team photo and Evans was the one the ho hit.

Why should Crimestoppers be exempt? I want to know who is on the Crimstoppers board. Maybe that is who the players should sue. Where is the funding for this group coming from?

Evans being the one (if he was) to retrieve and offer the fingernails to the cops would almost guarantee it, over and above the fact that he lived there and used the bathroom and its wastebasket) regularly Yes, and maybe whoever 'helped' the ho decide which player to finger next even knew about him handling the fingernails, or possibly not. They needed to find some DNA on something from her, didn't they, and somebody would certainly be smart enough to know that he or his roommate were the best shots because they lived there. I doubt if she can even spell DNA, that decision process belongs to someone else, quite possibly even Nifong (by having someone 'steer' her that way.).
One thing is for certain - I think the choice of David Evans was too convenient to be circumstance. I think he got targeted for several reasons, none of which have anything to do with him (or the others) laying a finger on her that night.

"This is another Tawana."
"Her lies have already cost the North Carolina taxpayers 100s of thousands, and the players families 10s of thousands each
and the latest news is the black families of the victims of a Durham quadruple homicide last winter have said they are bullshit mad that they are still awaiting DNA testing in their case due to police saying they lack the funds and facilities for quicker DNA testing in the high priority case
That is true political power Nifong appears to have blown off a quaduple homicide DNA testing so he can do his Evil White Duke Rapists tests using state labs then finding the money to have private lab testing in his stripper case."

It is a real shame we allow plea bargaining in this country. I think it has done real harm too. DA's like Nifong plea out their bad charges most of the time.
I know like me you must wish, if it would not cause so much harm to the defendant, to have a trial in cases like this. I for one think it is terrible that a liar like Kate Faber got away without cross-examination or direct examination if the DA had charge her for lying under oath as he should have done. Similarly, Mangum should not get away without having to be cross-examined in this mess either. As it is, this case will die like CO v. Bryant and the feminazis will continue to slander and libel the defendants. But I do not wish more costs imposed on the defendants, so I just hope it all goes away and can not wish for a trial.

You know who the 2 most frightened men are in Durham at this time?
The 2 cops driving Crystal around. The probably went to the Police Union and insisted on Surveilance Cameras on the 3 of them at all times.
If it gets another headline, it scores her more money, or if Dad wakes up on the wrong side of his Hawaiian brochures - those 2 guys will be the two newest drivers for Crystal - the 2 newest indicted.
Who wants to get near her? She has a very loyal following. She needs no evidence, in fact, the less evidence the more convincing she is according to her defenders. Women that have been sexually assaulted never get anything right (except who did it), they appear traumatized - or not, they rarely have DNA on them, previous false accusations mean nothing, Drug use is evidence you drugged her and she decided to forgo the TOX testing, their prior history is off-limits in court, and when you attempt to explain what really happened - you are blaming the victim!
I wouldn't do that job for 1 million bucks!

Not really, the cops probably don't care for the duty as they likely did not sign up to be baby sitters. But who is she going to complain to? The cops are not taking another rape complaint from her, particularly against a DPD officer. Nifong is not pressing charges on another rape complaint from her either. Such a claim would harm her original case even more not make her any more money. They would hush up any such claim of hers and tell her to shut up, maybe even if true.
She might be the unhappy one. How do you figure she is supporting herself? How do you figure she is getting her drugs and you know she is a user. You think her "boyfriend" is around much now that she is not bringing in any cash?
