It's not too bad out here - I'd say around 80 degrees.

Dogs would definitely be good for protection once I have a house since I'm by myself. When I was a child, my grandparents had a german shephard - wonderful dog. All of us kids would play with him, and he never hurt any of us. I suppose it just depends on the dog as to whether they will bite or not.

Wow! That's a big bow.

I still have yet to buy a digital camera. It's not very high on the priority list for me yet, since my printer decided to quit on me.

Panasonic "Lumix"
199bucks, plus add-ons.
5megapixels, 6xZoom, bigass spare memory card...
pretty good for the money.

"Never used reinforcing bands on stairs meself!"

It would work on handrails.

Since bamboo for flooring has become popular, and could also be used in a staircase, a unique handrail to match it would be a striking architectural statement.

It would be unsightly, and it would defeat the whole purpose of a handrail - namely that it must be a seamless surface for gliding one's hand along.

It sounds like it's a pretty good camera.

How long is the bow?

Wrong. A handrail should be seamless only for gliding one's butt along, and no newel post, please!

The purpose of a handrail is to give a handgrip while one is ascending or descending, and a bit of texture assists that purpose.

Those dogs are known to have high incidents of biting children. They are known for it in fact.

Still a big dog means you get to get real familiar with a shovel in your backyard.

I agree, a woman alone should have at least a 30 pound dog with her at home.

just damn... looks like it's strung with boots on the ends.

if so, is it so as not to weaken the bow or to ease the stringing it???

They sure did -- it's gorgeous!!

Old Sarge, Ms. Behavin and I have been writing a story in poem and my "character" is an Elven Archer. I've looked at a lot of pictures in the internet and that one's spectacular!!

Children do visit.

I have to either hold my dog on my lap or put the little guy in a back room and make him feel excluded from the social activities.

The neighbors that live across the street from my parents have a collie. He can do all sorts of tricks, like sit, shake, etc. He seems to be good with their kids.

I was thinking exacly of a collie for you.

Nice big loving dog with long hair.

I think they are attractive dogs for women as well.
