I have a friend who lives in Central Utah, and when I told her years ago that I was moving there, she said, "No one LIVES in Vegas! They just go there to gamble!"

No, I did not share my chocolate. It was in the back of the van, along with my dark chocolate, so I'm thinking it's all going to be melted beyond recognition.
First night was painful. I couldn't get comfortable, even sleeping on the floor. *sigh* Maybe tonight will be better.

Thanks! It was actually about two hours longer than I would have made it had I been driving alone, but it was fun to be with my daughter.
I think we're going to unload, today. Not that I feel like it. But I have to turn the truck in by tomorrow.

I'm anxious to get out of this A/C and get some sun/heat on my bones. It was a long drive with a cold air freakess. ;o]
Next time I move I think I will use the pod system.

They are overbuilding in vegas BIG time! Especially high rise condos(40 high rises under construction or about to be). I will buy one at auction if the price is right.
Las Vegas has everything. It was available in Tucson, and I thought of checking out the pod system but figured it would be out of my budget in the best of times.
I'm here now, and all I need is six good men and I'll have everything in storage. I remember once I loaded and unloaded a 16' truck myself, and that was not a fun experience. I loaded it in LA and unloaded it here...in the middle of June.
