As a US Navy vet (service connected disabled as well) I feel that I have a right to speak to her so called "high calling". It has previously been stated that her purpose for joining was to see the world. The US military is certainly not the best place to be to try to see the world. Some functions certainly allow some travel. Most don't. I believe that when her intended purpose for being there did not materialize she looked for a convenient way to get out and accepted a path that lead to a less than honorable discharge. Something that I or the vast majority of people I served with did not strive for.

In some ways I feel sorry for her because she has apparently be allowed to game the system for many years without repercussions. She has now tried it again but I believe it will catch up with her this time. The old saying, what goes around, comes around may be in play here.

I very sincerely hope you are right, Sir. I will not judge anything but the sin, I took an oath to love the sinner. Unfortunately, I don't know how to help the ones really hurting here, that's why I watch the posts and news. I pray for the families and the boys. I truly know what they are going through and it was our faith that brought us safe and the grace of Himself that has healed our child. I'm still paying the bills, but the hurt is almost gone and it's been three years. I just panic when I see it happening elsewhere and can't throw myself in front of the bus to stop it.
