What A Shame About Jay, (Leno)
Stardate: 0605.16

I turn on Jay at night to go to bed with a laugh before heading off to whatever is next......
I love the headlines bit and he really makes me laugh......but tonight's continued tirade on GWB made me turn him off..... I could not stand another crack from some "entertainer" about how the President of our country, the most important man on earth in many ways, (because he effects so many lives) and we constanly have to listen to people who haven't accomplished a thimbal full tell him and us what they think...and it's unceasing.......and worse: it's getting BORING......
Grow up Jay, or you're going to lose the people that still do watch you.....don't be fooled by polls......you're in TV, you know how numbers can be made to lie.......

I don't think that the commies on the left should be able to tell jokes because it is politically motivated, biased, slanderous, and a lot of times misleading. We (FreeRepublic) can do it because it is like family doing it. We should never joke with a liberal about it. We have to call the commies on the left out. :-)

You're absolutely right. And the Bush bashers right here on this thread ought to just take a hike.
Why do you folks that support President Bush at all costs get so uptight when other Republicans have grave concerns over President Bush's handling on illegal immigrants?
Discussion is healthy...

I turn on Jay at night to go to bed with a laugh..........When did Leno suddenly become funny?
To: do the dhue
It is politically motivated for some freepers as well who never supported Bush. Others are using horrible insults and filthy name-calling that is even worse than the comedy central crowd. That's not how I treat my family.

"So was it wrong when he made jokes about clinton?"
Leno said Clinton was the best for Late Night jokes.

He trashes the Democrats all the time. To him they are the party that is always capable of clutching defeat from the jaws of victory. They are the party without a plan. They are the party in Washington who is powerless and impotent. He routinely pumels Bill Clinton for popularizing oral sex and for being the father of his country. He is constantly on Hillary, Al Gore, and Kerry.
Frankly your gripes would have more signifignace if you had been complaining about all the Clinton jokes and the Al Gore jokes. Get a grip. What comedians do to politicians today is nothing compared to what other politicians did to them two hundred years ago.

I hate the Internet.Yes, and in the original post, see this:
because he effects so many lives
The President has only "effected", with the help of Laura, two lives that we know of. But he has affected many.

I hate it when the Treasury Department picks on the poor guy.
Article Source: http://finance.yahoo.com/columnist/article/richricher/4353
According to the U.S. Treasury Department, America's first 42 Presidents, from George Washington (1789) to Bill Clinton (2000), borrowed a combined total of $1.01 trillion from foreign governments and financial institutions. From 2000 to 2006, the Bush White House has borrowed $1.05 trillion alone. Yes, that means we have borrowed in the last 5 years what we had previously borrowed in the first 211 years of our country.

LOL, just another court jester resentful that he contributes absolutely nothing to society or country.
To: The Wizard
I used to watch Leno, then I decided that sleep was much more important. Yes, he bashed Clinton, too. But his Clinton jokes were said with a wink and a nod. His Bush jokes are usually more biting. I remember, not too long ago, Leno was being accused of being (horror of horrors) a Conservative. He had to come out and say that he's a liberal so as not to lose too many extra jobs. Conservatives out here have a hard time getting work in the entertainment business. Leno isn't conservative.
