Please reserve the word "barbaric" for those that saw the heads off of innocent people. Thank you.

(...Caribbean island attack?)
You know it's time to 'get out of Dodge' when the whole island attacks you.

Please reserve the word "barbaric" for those that saw the heads off of innocent people. Thank you. I can't as there are other behaviours that fall into that catagory. Such as trying to run someone down with a car and using a tire iron on their head because you dislike their lack of morals. Abortion is also barbaric.

Actually, it's a simple matter of showing some respect for their faith.
Posting cartoons mocking their prophet is of no benefit to me.

Once again, I have to ask. Your point was missed. Can you clarify please? Your post made no sense to me. Or is my understanding of your comments, not important?

Post 121 was our first communication. You said: Please reserve the word "barbaric" for those that saw the heads off of innocent people. Thank you. I told you that I could not reserve "barbaric" for only beheadings and listed other barbaric behaviours. What's not to understand?

so you and your woman are in an islamic country and because she isn't walking 15 paces behind, her head gets bashed in and that's ok? oh yeah, when in rome....

Respect has to be earned. Making veiled (and not so veiled) threats of violence because nonbelievers don't obey their rules doesn't earn respect. Neither does failure by their majority to rebuke and cast out the ones who do so.

No Islamic country expeditions for this tourist.
What's this to do with admonishing gays to keep their hands off each other in public while in foreign countries?

How about beating the crap out anyone (who is not harming you) is not something to be tolerated. That's what I said.
Two guys fondling and kissing in public in a foreign country and in a public place is like a magnet to some that believe homosexual activity is an abhorrent sin.
Save that behavior for a comfortable Castro Street cafe.

They'll be hell to pay since one of the "lovers" was an employee of CBS.
I wonder what would have happened had one of the Americans been a 50 year-old man and the other a 12 year-old boy fondling and kissing in a St. Maartin pub?

Threats of violence classify as assault in most places in this nation.
Showing respect towards the beliefs of others is nothing more than common courtesy.
