I think they can get rid of the judges and the show would improve at this point.

Simon: "Absolutely perfect song for you. You have just sung your way into the semi-finals."Taylor must have been genuinely great on that song to pull a compliment from Simon.

I didn't really care for it either. I really, really like Chris, but there wasn't a whole lot there this time. Not until the end.

Chris' second song
Standing-O!
Randy: "That was hot! Kept the rocker edge!"

Paula: "Loved that you picked a song that shows a little more personality."
Simon: "I liked your first song better. It was okay. It was a bit flat."

***I'm liking Chris' second song.***
I did too and I was sitting in the other room and could only hear it (not see it) and I thought it sounded great. Maybe our next american idol will be a serial killer. LOL!

Alot of people didn't like her. I thought she did excellent...personality, did her own take on the song, sounded great.....really had the confidence tonight.

I agree with everything you just said!
To: RobFromGa
getting better as he gets angrierI'm glad someone else sees that about Chris. Angry is his schtick, but I don't like angry. That's why I don't like Chris.

OK. I'll say something heretical. Taylor's version of "In the Ghetto" was better than Elvis's. Taylor sounded soulful; Elvis's version was schlocky.

Taylor was incredible on Ghetto. Chris picked awesome songs tonight. E and K better kill this second one or the finals are already set.
To: Wallaby
Taylor did VERY well on that second song.
To: BamaDi
Well, if you believe the critics here, you'd think it was Taylor going home tomorrow.
NOPE..it's gonna be McPhee..
