I found something about it a Katharine site too.

I'm with you. I have been very worried about Taylor ever since I saw those percentages. I was under the impression that Taylor had more of a lead. Frankly, I was shocked. I really was scared Taylor's name would appear on the screen because in that shock anything could have happened.

Over the past few weeks I've been in lots of fan sites and seen mention of skype. I think they all have members that use it.

Here's what I found on Katharine's site

... So, if his fans are going to use it, might as well have Kat fans get on the bandwagon, too.

www.skype.com for the software. Spread the word before this gets taken down. There's no reason any other contestant should have an advantage.

Howevah, Diamond tunes have the same problem as the Beatles - Jacko owns most of the rights. Thus we never see them performed on AI.

What?! How did wacko get the rights to Neil Diamond?

Here's some stuff I found about skype.

I learned about Skype from reading PC Magazine and other computer mags. It's a new, but legitimate service that allows people to make real long-distance phone calls using their DSL lines. (I don't know if it works with dial-up.) The purpose is to save the cost of per-call phone company charges. Internet service is paid for per month, not per call. That's how you supposedly save money. (I never looked into it, so I don't know how Skype makes its money. Monthly fees, or by selling their software or both?)

Don't know if what the people you posted message from is true, but people will find any loophole to exploit if one exists.

I still think Taylor had a bigger lead, but it was manipulated somehow. Not the OUTCOME, but the closeness of the perecentages. He has never been in the bottom two or three, and Kat has several times, as was Elliot. All of a sudden they are all in an almost statistical tie?

I'm just not buying it.

The person fronting her was Kenny G and he played for over an hour!! i liked his music ok but over an hour is way too much, she comes out and sings maybe 20 minutes and goes off. My friend and I were fuming! Tickets weren't cheap for a couple of high school students. I really didn't care for anything she sang after that.

Wow. I'd have been ticked, too!

I dunno - I just heard on the news a few weeks ago the Perved One was putting his music up for sale, and it included Neil and the Beatles, as well as some other big names I cannot remember.

I loves me some Neil Diamond, and like Taylor, he incites passion in his fans but can be somewhat polarizing to those who do not "get" him.

Here's some stuff I found about skype. I believe this is going on in the Katharine camp too, but haven't been over there to check it out yet. I found this from AI, and MrDaughtry.com. What are your thoughts?

I think they should just flip a coin. Lots cheaper and still dramatic way to end the show. Give them both contracts and whoever outsells the other will be the people's favorite.

Yes, it is obvious Elliott was raised right by his precious mother. Elliott's sweetness would have been the only balm that would have helped me recover if Taylor had lost to him. We cannot, cannot have Kat win over Taylor. It just can't be. Surely the Soul Patrol will out do the TaTa Cabal.

WASHINGTON -- Elliott Yamin was bumped from "American Idol," but he nonetheless won remarks of tribute in the House of Representatives today.

"I rise to congratulate Richmond, Virginia native and American Idol contestant Elliott Yamin for pursuing his dream while sharing his powerful voice with all of us," Rep. Eric I. Cantor, R-7th District, said in a brief speech.

"Elliott is returning home a star; a man with an extraordinary gift who dared to put his talent on display and achieved great success."

Yamin will return home "having inspired and entertained millions with his extraordinary singing voice and charisma," Cantor added. He paid tribute to Yamin's "undoubtedly bright future."

"Marketing and ratings."

Wasn't there a rumor that Reuben Studdard was shockingly placed in the bottom three to stir up marketing and ratings? I remember being totally shocked because I thought he was doing well. It did not seem to make sense. But certainly the show people have to be on the up and up don't they? I mean what a huge bomb if they got caught doing something like that.

Does anyone know the name of that "futures" site that handicaps AI?

I'd like to see the latest odds.

Yes Elliott had the classiest exit ever and for that reason alone, I am glad that angry Chris went out first.

Last night we got to see a real man say thank you and goodbye for now.

I think there are several songs that Taylor could do of Diamond's. Brother Loves Travelling show is one, Kentucky Woman, Lady Oh.

Still surprised to know that wacko has the rights to Diamond. sheesh.

A short while back AI addressed the issue of the power dialing and said they were unable to stop it.

We will all live with the results and other than Mandisa leaving so early, I'm accepting the results so far.
