Now for Kat, they had to fill the high school gym to get a crowd.

Excellent observation!

Just saw Kat's mom in the audience. She wears her boobies hanging out too.

Awwwww...I may ball tonight, too. And it takes a lot to make me cry. I'm the type that keeps it all bottled up inside

I suggest you get the Kleenex ready :) This is one of the most moving Idol shows ever--no exaggeration.

He didn't, but you might. :-)

Oh I will. But thank you, I am so glad he did not!

Not sure why, yet, but hopefully someday I will figure it out....

May I suggest you go back to a taped show, turn it on, leave the room, and listen with your eyes closed. Eliot should have gone home 2-3 weeks ago. He's not bad, but he's not top 3/4 material.

I don't know when I have been this attached to someone on tv.

It is sad, but at the same time I feel nothing but good about Elliot. He ran the race well.

"More commercial" isn't always better. Being easily marketable doesn't really equal longevity in the industry. (Britney Spears is a good example.)

I'd like to see Kat go towards a Norah Jones kind of sound...not a Norah clone, just somewhere in that genre.

Thanks for the update. I am sure I will be in tears for Elliot, but I am not surprised by the result at all. He is great and we will see him again!!! Now I can watch the show on the West Coast without biting my nails! :-)

Thanks for understanding, Purrcival.

I guess that is what I get for "cheating." I don't care for the silly "suspense" when Ryan says "group A" or whatever.

So I hop aboard the thread to see who wins without the pain of the "results" show.

Prosperers never cheat. Or something like that ;)

This has been such an amazing journey for him and while he has been blown away by the support he's still the same guy. Grateful for the chance to shine, the chance to find his way in life and everyone he's gotten to meet.

Elliott is not AI material. His songs tonight just don't reflect mass market appeal but rather they appeal to people with taste in music and he's happy with that. He has such a profound respect for classic American music and it's great. Now that he is free to sing his own style of music life will just get better for him.

And I will say it again, if what we saw tonight was there last night Kat goes home. The trip home really zapped him and his blood sugar was way off last night.

Hello,

Thanks! I enjoy spending time with all of you so much (to the point that Mr. MOgirl kindly reminded today me that there is life away from FR...)

Glad to be here, MOgirl
