It isn't always easy to catch the manipulation the AI producers pull. This time, for me at least, it was totally transparent. I agree. That is why Taylor got far and away the better set of songs to sing. Elliot is the one being trashed here. But the facts of the matter are that Taylor and Katherine are the best and, with the possible exception of Chris and (don't shoot me) Kellie are the most marketable. This is all about selling records so don't be surprised if they are looking out for their own best interest. You would too.

Yeah but Fantasia's performance was actually good :)It was good. It deviated from the way the songwriters wrote it, but not in a bad way.

(Taylor--he sings, writes his own songs, plays instruments, has charisma, and he's the whole package.)

They all have had the benefit of that machine including Taylor. Exactly.

Are those the only two answers they have, Hicks and Pickler?

Maybe they borrowed the winner's song from Australian Idol or something. Isn't that what they did last year with "Inside Your Heaven?" Yep. And I just checked the song credits on Carrie's CD--Warren didn't write "Inside Your Heaven", but she did write three other songs, including the schlocky title track, "Some Hearts". The other two are fairly good.
But I hope they went with someone else this year.

You're Hicks too? They must be the only two outcomes to the quiz--Hicks or Pickler.
I was hoping someone would be a "Bucky" :)
