"What? He strained himself...couldn't reach the notes...I felt sorry for him."
I agree. He should consider himself lucky, considering Simon's mostly positive feedback.

When he was on Leno last night, Simon picked her to get in the finals with Taylor. Even without hearing the performances, he thinks Elliott goes home this week. So Simon has to be easy on Kat to make his own prediction come true.

Elliot's second song
Randy: "A little sharp through most of the song. Not your best peformance. Just keepin' it real."

Paula: You're a star--or words to that effect.
Simon: "Wasn't the best song in the world, but it suited you pretty good. I think you actually did a good job."

(Taylor--he sings, writes his own songs, plays instruments, has charisma, and he's the whole package.)
To: Fawn
That's where Simon likes her

OK this is doing nothing for me at all. She just took a beautiful song and made it boring as hell.

McPhee sitting on the stage again, singing Somewhere Over The Rainbow.
She had to take her earpiece out.
A little sharp (as usual--ouch--really sharp on the high note), but it's not bad.
