Yep. I had my son try a search for Dancing In the Dark on Ares. Came up with the Bruce and Tina Turner version, and that was it. Couple of songs with the same name, but they weren't the same song. We laughed so hard. The voice was like Paris Bennet's talking voice on even more helium, and sung with Ace's falsetto and an overdone vibrato added into the mix. Man was it bad!
Yeah, what the frig is that all about!!! I was really looking forward to hear him do that song. Now I have to listen to one of Springsteen's boring, whiningass songs.
Here's the trick, how does Taylor make that song? It's the epitome of a whiteboy dance song, has NO soul, is teeniebop, 80's washout...
Pretty sure I'm going to be there. Only two shows left, I can't miss it with you guys!
Only two shows left- OMG! THE HORROR!
Maybe you just named it. Maybe they want him to take it from teeniebop and convert it to appeal to a more mature audience?
I'm not saying that her McTa-Tas aren't fake, but she did have a smile on her face when she said that so it's not at all certain that she actually had her boobs done-- not that I care either way, frankly. And I heard her say "$10K each," not just "$10K" like in the description of the clip-- which seems way over what I'd expect. I've heard like $6K for the whole job. "$10,000 each" sounds like she's just joking around and doesn't even know what they run.
Oooooh. No wonder her hair always looks good. I've never had them, but I've heard they are really damaging to your natural hair.

American Idol: Voter Frustration - Here's The Solution
Commentary by Ron Lemon
May 16, 2006
Fans and voters of this season's American Idol have had it with the voting system. Frustration and the perceived lack of credibility of the American Idol voting system is nothing new. But this year it has grown to the point that people are threatening to boycott the show.
Last week's ouster of Chris Daughtry shocked almost everyone. Including the producers, judges and contestants. It seems to be the final straw for many fans. And it's not just the fans of Chris Daughtry who are disillusioned, angry, and frustrated.
Since last Wednesday night we have received thousands of emails from angry fans demanding a change to the system. And an explanation. The same three questions are raised over and over again by the fans.
Why are the results not released?
Which contestant received how many votes?
Why couldn't I get through to vote for my favorite?
Sites like DialIdol are fueling the flames. The site has been very accurate with it's predictions of who will be going home based on the number of busy signals the site encounters when trying to place votes. The question is; if Chris Daughtry, in this case, had the fewest busy signals why did he receive the lowest number of votes? Does that indicate he would have more calls getting through? Or that he was receiving fewer attempted calls?
It is time for Nigel and company to release the actual vote numbers. The thirty-million American's who are watching the show every week deserve a little respect and a little honesty.
More importantly they deserve a voting system that they can believe is fair. Here's my solution.
The most frustrating aspect of voting is placing a call to a line for a particular contestant and not being able to get through. The frustration stems from the worry that voters for other contestants are getting through.
Let's eliminate the multiple lines. Let's use one single phone number for all votes. When the caller gets through he is instructed to select a number to vote for their favorite. They are then thanked and disconnected and free to call in again.
If they get a busy signal they will be frustrated by that, but they will know that it is happening on an equal basis to everybody trying to vote regardless of who they are trying to vote for because it is only one number.
Its one step that the show can take to repair it's failing credibility.

All right. Check it out. Here's the deal. Normally, obviously, we would never even think about anyone from Am Idol as a singer for Fuel. However, ever since Chris sang Hemorrhage on the show, we began paying attention. Sorry, the show's not my thing, but at least most of the finalist can sing and aren't Britney Spearing it up there. However, Chris in my opinion has carried himself well on the show and has stayed true to his rock side, which is a serious credit to him considering the format. We have found some great guys through the audition process and in fact, were already headed in other directions when Chris unexpectedly got voted off the show. The phones started ringing. So now what? I think anyone would say that we would at least have to entertain the idea of Chris and Fuel. The websites have been flooded with support for the idea ever since he sang Hemorrhage from most of you. So that is what we are doing. We are entertaining the idea and the offer to Chris was that we would be willing to entertain him as an option. However, there is a lot to discuss and be decided. Is it right for us? Would it be the right thing for Chris? Would he even be able to get out of the contractual obligations to Am Idol? Would we be able to get things squared with Sony? So nothing is cut and dry, even if both camps thought it was right thing to do, it still might be impossible to work out all the details. Chris and I have discussed the possibility before and we are still entertaining the idea. Either way, never fear, we are coming with a great lead singer very soon who we are very excited about and rolling out a record this year.

I don't even want to think about it. LOL
I'll have more time to focus on some classes I'm taking, but I will miss the thread!
Terri Hatcher, Ryan's one-date wonder.
I think the actual wording was, "BY THE WAY, THEY'RE REAL AND THEY'RE SPECTACULAR !"
Ya know I saw that and didn't read it carefully enough. So hearing Chris talk about it the way he does, and glossing over Fuel's statement I must have assumed wrongly that it was his gig to take. My bad.
I really want to know the offer's Taylor and Kat are getting?
Looks like the media didn't look closely either. They all act like its a job offer.
I really want to know the offer's Taylor and Kat are getting?
I've thought about that, too.
Joe Perry played one on Aerosmith's "Back in the Saddle"
Not exactly a compliment.
To either.
LOL! I'm not a Springsteen fan. I can hear a clip of it at MSN's music store, but I'd rather hear it for the first time tonight when Taylor does it. :)
Really? Did he play the guitar trax too?
If I'm ever close enough to Kat to whisper anything into her ear, I can assure you it won't be that.
I can't stand Springsteen. This will be interesting with Taylor singing it, I may like it much better.
