That was a very ugly play to watch. The arm sort of flopped up and down 1/3 down the forearm.

that would be a lousy deal...telling the "losers" that they have to hang around even though they have offers Chris still has the Idol summer tour to do--and he'll be paid nicely for it. And Idol itself might sign Chris to their own label. At least Chris has some time to weigh his options.

why are people talking about Live offering him a job? I don't know ... I think it was just an Internet rumor, but the Fuel offer appears to be legit.

I heard him on 102.7 and about the offer he was to get tonight.
I thought it would be a name group like Van Halen who goes through lead singers, not Fuel which is probably a name created from the Carter gas lines.

"Nineties were a lousy decade for rock? Hmmm, don't care for the Seattle influence like Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Alice in Chains, or Soundgarden? What about Stone Temple Pilots? Live was good, Tool, Chili Peppers did some good stuff during that decade, Jane's Addiction was good"I rest my case.
To: BamaDi
Was that who you were talking about? Yeah that's her, Mrs. Mike Farrell (((shudder)))
this thread is still going strong....I'm becoming addicted - I NEED TO GO TO BED! (and yeah I know, I am addicted)
The first step is admitting you have a problem ;)

Have you ever listened to Fuel? He could step in and not miss a beat. When bands lose their lead singers it screws with their identity.

my most prized posession is the 1999 locker room championship ballcap autographed by El Duquque, Clements, Joe Torre, Andy Pettitt....signed at the very first game in Enron Field, which of course is now called Minute Maid Park, or affectionally known in Houston as the Juice Box..

what next week's theme is?I think it's "judges' choice"--Randy, Paula and Simon will each choose one song for each contestant. Three songs per singer.
I don't know that for sure, but that's the way it usually is.

Oh crap!
Rivera just choked like Kellie Pickler on "Love songs night."
(Hows that for keeping the topic flowing back?)

I heard all of those groups' music emanating from my son's room in the 90's!!!
Oh, and he also spray painted a few of the names on his room walls....Double LOL>
He went to the same high school as a couple of the members of the group Pantera. (don't know if you have heard of them)
To: TonyWpi

You're right, I'm sorry. Talent is a subjective thing. I temporarily forgot that.
To: BamaDi
Nice....
I had a personally autographed baseball from the 1976 Red Sox team that my older sister glued to the floor a year after I got it.
Good thing I have had almost 30 years to get over it.

Have you ever listened to Fuel? I don't own any of their CDs, but I've heard "Hemorrhage" several times on the radio and I agree that Chris would be a good fit for them.
