my best friend e-mailed me today (she's been a big Chris fan) and said that the way he handled it (NOT) really turned her off of him....and I agree - he truly was shocked because I think he'd started believing the hype that it was his to lose - and guess what? He lost! I feel sorry and sad for all of them as they get the bye bye but he was not gracious at all! Just my opinion!
Chris was the odds on favorite to win Idol???????????????????
I've liked the little guy all along. He has more personality than Chris. Taylor is too fat for me and I don't care for his "moves."
I'm not sure, but I think they might be referring to odds in Vegas.
I wouldn't even have to dye mine - I'd just have to quit putting the blond color on it....but let's not tell anyone! My pedicure guy says I look 42...where the heck did 42 come from? why not 39!!??
I tried the second number last week and never got through -got through on the first number this week - once...I don't think there's any rhyme or reason....OMG Damon just reached OVER the wall and caught a ball to save a homerun...and of course Joe Morgan, the Yankee hater, said "oh I don't think it was over the wall"....
Simon really seemed to dislike Josh Gracin. What a disgrace.
and I loved your vent!!!! I really get upset when people trash Taylor saying he has no talent - I'm from the 60s-70s era (meaning hs thank you very much) and i love his music....and every night i go to bed with Michael McDonald on my BOSE Wave Machine singing me to sleep!!! I will be one of the first to buy a Tay Tay CD....
LOL!
Where have you been hiding?
In my dreams I am Paula! :-) I really do like them all! I couldn't say that last year!
We expect the Miss America Runner Up smiles and hugs and act like it is such a thrill to lose. Chris reacted honestly and it was not pretty. I think gracious is the right word. There are times you put your disappointed feelings aside and pretend for the comfort sake of others. Chris did not care about us or pretense and showed it.
You and me both! I hope I can find a way to get the ones he's already done, too. I can't remember the last time I saw an entertainer I've liked as much as Taylor!
Amen
For most of us, it has become an obsession, but not life or death.
I've been thinking that too. He seemed to really coast through Elvis night (an hour after the show I had trouble remembering what songs he performed).
But I'm sure he'll be fine.
You might be right because I noticed that he got the lyrics wrong, sang the second verse twice -("if you can't find a partner use a wooden chair").
What??? It really is Florida 2000! :)
Exactly what draws me to him as well. Music is so obviously the joy of his life. As for Elliot... I just think he's a great guy with a lot of talent, who deserves recognition. I would be just tickled pink with a Taylor/Elliot finale.
Or aging playmates ...
"I was Miss December, 1956"
LOL
I was born in 1950 so I gues I'm definitely a GrayMate....
