Definitely! I'd gnaw off my fingers before I would punch those buttons for KM. I'm a very sore loser. Bad sport. Vindictive....and an old fogie who liked Chris!

It was Pickler that had the biggest wedge in the pie chart. Paris was always at the bottom with the smallest percentage, but it was always the person next to her wedge that went home. This happened AT LEAST 3 weeks in a row.

I think there's a lot of merit to your analysis, and hope you're right. I would absolutely hate it if Katharine somehow won this thing. She'd be the most undeserving winner, even more so than Fantasia, who I don't like at all.

I see people being pissed that McPhee stayed even after doing a bad job on 3/4 last songs.
Taylor and Elliott in the final sets up an interesting scenario. Elliott has his own fan base and he will likely pick up the anti-Taylor vote. Soul Patrol has lots of adherents. The AI boards show a lot of mutual respect for one another and Taylor and Elliott are pretty tight as buddies at this point.

Chris just didn't have that star quality. He's the only one we'll still hear about in two years. He'll be signed this week.

Thanks so much for the info about AI cancelling Memphis so the hurricane victims could have the rooms.
I love the show and that makes me even gladder for their success.

To you and all Chris's fans here: You have my sympathies tonight. Chris did not deserve to go. Y'all know who did.
But as others have said, this may turn out to be a better boost to Chris's career, not being tied down to an AI contract.
He's had worldwide exposure now. With his talent, drive, and looks, he will succeed.

Well, I certainly was wrong about Chris. Someone last night said he "sang angry" and straying away from that hurt him. My wife agreed as soon as I read it to her (and she is no AI fan -- these last few weeks are the first time I have been home to watch it with her).
But I really thought he had a large base. I was predicting Pickles, Taylor and Chris as the last 3. I guess I was pretty wrong.
Elliot suprises me. He seems bland but there are more people out there who appreciate his very nice voice than I realized.
Kat, OTOH, is 180 degrees from that -- especially after that disaster last night.
So I am kerfluzzled.

no having to sell out for Simon. Well there is that. And signing with whatever record company you want.
