I read the Larry "Seltzer" interview...I think on this thread...and thought it was interesting.

BTW...if you can get it, DirecTV (and maybe some other dish/cable services) have a network that shows the program "American Idol Extra."

They usually interview the "voted off" contestants after each show but this week they interview both Taylor and Katharine. They're pretty decent interviews too.

I saw Taylor's then I changed the channel. I've seen enough of her to last a lifetime. I'm just glad they interviewed them SEPARATELY! Taylor got to answer questions directed to him! :)

What I think this means:

DIMYP is STILL moving up the preliminary radio airplay JUMP charts for the Adult Contemporary, Pop, and Country genres. It’s strongest in Adult Contemporary and weakest in Country, but there are some Country stations playing it although it’s not a usual radio ‘country’ song. Mainstream Hit charts (aka Pop) are the ones to watch for airplay because I believe songs jump from here to the Billboard airplay charts and then the ‘Hot 100 Bubble Under’ chart (#101-125) before landing on the prestigious Hot 100 chart.

The new Billboard charts come out Thursday. WE SHOULD BE WATCHING to see if DIMYP shows up on the airplay charts there.

If she does the Bocceli thing in early June, I think just misses a couple of rehearsals for the tour. But, like you, I checked the Official Bocceli site yesterday and there wasn't any mention of McPhee at all.

American Idol judge Simon Cowell has turned his famous barbed comments on Prince after being appalled by the pop superstar's surprise performance at the show's finale last week (24MAY06).

The Purple Rain hit maker took to the stage at the Kodak Theatre for a quick run through two new songs before dashing off, refusing to meet the Idol contestants or greet the audience.

Idol host Ryan Seacrest has since reported that he feared Prince would be a no-show - because he appeared just minutes before he was due to hit the stage.

And Cowell insists Prince's attitude isn't one he'd like Idol winners to display at any time in their career.

He says, "It just tells you how selfish he is. He comes on, not a word - 'I'm not gonna sing with anybody else, I'm not gonna say goodbye.' Thank you for your generosity, Prince."

I find it odd that Cowell would blast Prince for what Prince is known for. Prince is known for being standoffish. In a way that is part of his trademark. At least he wasn't playing touchy-feely with the idols.

Cowell should have blasted Braxton for ruining In The Ghetto.
