I send packages to the troops all the time. I go through AnySoldier.com.
They ask that you use indelible marker and write AnySoldier on the CD's and DVD's. Not just the case. They have a problem with locals stealingthem and then trying to resell them back to the troops that they stole them from in the first place.

(Taylor--he sings, writes his own songs, plays instruments, has charisma, and he's the whole package.)
To: Netizen
That's who the OP uses too. It's a great song letting them know that we are most definitely proud of them for all of their sacrifices for us.

rumor here in Mobile is that Taylor had committed to this year's BayFest prior to AI. hope so....Bo Bice did last year and he kept the commitment....hopefully I'll be able to buy a Soul Patrol t-shirt to wear IF he does come. My brother (who is NOT a Tay Tay fan) said he'd go with me to see him....what a guy! (My brother....!)

somebody was talking about sandra bullock the other day and her political leanings. I bought the people with paul mccartney on the cover and her husband, jesse james? the monster garage guy, is in it and has just been to iraq, himself.

Well, then, its's nice of him to go with you. :)

My two cents:
Just WTF is Taylor Hicks???? He's a guy that won a television popularity contest show that involved singing. He has nothing to say about politics, the economy, social issues or anything else for that matter that I or anyone else should care about. Why? Because he's a guy that won a television popularity contest show that involved singing. If he has half a brain in his head he will do what Laura Ingraham said:
Shut Up and Sing.
To: misterrob
He's a guy that won a television popularity contest show... I never watched this show during the season because these contests (and other "blank is eliminated today" type shows) are for the most part boring to me.
I did figure out when they were going to announce the winner and tuned in for that.
I figured Hicks would win. For one reason. His looks. He looks like a cross between Jay Leno and that Judge Simon. That's the looks that America seems to covet these days. Plus weren't the last two winners women? It had to be a man this time.
OK I did watch one of the "contest" type shows, "The Next Food Network Star", but one of the contestants is a family friend. Oh, and he won!
To: andyssister
Of course not. LOL. They probably think he's some dude from England. They just can't figure out what happened to his accent.

This show hasn't been funny in years. The Narnia skit was hilarious. I had to run it down online. I doubt they've managed to repeat the humor since.

Good grief. Who the hell cares. Do you like his music? If so, pipe down about it. Incredible how such an innocusous statement could turn you against him. Bigger things to worry about.........

Great post. How friggin ridiculous the whole thing has become. Good grief. It's just damn music. He's not making public policy......People should just shut up and enjoy the product.

It's not. Thank goodness for the mp3! Got it in right now. Can't wait until I can get ahold of a CD that can be played in the stereo. I enjoy everything I hear him sing. Looking forward to a LOT more. Taylor is da man!
