It's a rerun SNL, just some Bushbash from 2005. And no, Taylor isn't there bashing Bush also :)

With a little rearranging - not much, it could definitely be a country song. It already had a country rock feel to it.

Yep! :)

And I think the DIMYP hits the stores June 21st.

As far as the rumors, I doubt they are totally accurate too, the moles are from The Advocate.

I'm pretty sure one of the moles is an SPer from GrayCharles.

So, I have thus far, heard good news about Taylor, Elliott and Chris, but unfortunately, nothing yet about the lovely Katharine Mcphee.

The only potential surprise is Steven Spielberg has apparently contacted her to speak about a movie role. This is good for her because being an actress was her original dream in the first place ( and she strikes me as having that kind of an "movie star" vibe ).

The McPhee-Spielberg thing has been rumored about, but Kat herself hemmed and hawed about it last night on LKL. I'm skeptical that he is eager to put her on film already, since he can pretty much get whatever actress he wants.

He may want to meet her for other reasons :)

That's a rumor. Ryan asked her about that last night and she hemmed and hawed, then he rephrased it and she fianlly said that she hasn't been contacted by any of Spielberg's people.

Yep, Here's a Mole Patrol Report from GrayCharles (So, not all moles are from the Advocate)

Digger Doc

Whew! I ended up, due to the generosity of someone who had an extra ticket, going to the taping of the actual performance of American Idol. I am only going to comment on a few things that happened, before, during, and after the performance, as you all got to see the whole thing for yourselves.

We could make up some Crow recipes and send them to Simon. Mmmmmmmm, yummy with a side dish of Turnip Greens. ;-)

I meant to comment on this earlier. Gather up a little cookbook for him!

One thing she needs to learn is that the world does not revolve around her. McDaddy may burst into tears at the way she chews her food but the rest of us live in the real world.

LOL

Well, my feeling is this...if an interviewer asked me about how much I resembled Bill clinton and the entertainment industry thought this was a wonderful thing, I would try to be savvy enough to not dis the guy and ruin my new thriving career. From the way Taylor responded, I don't think anything about it, Now if he said "Clinton is so much better than the guy we have now in office, I hate this war, blah, blah, blah"..I would write him off. If he said Clinton was the rapist in chief, incompetent the other side of his fan base would write him off. He's a throwback to Cocker et al you know democrats like him too! He seems smart enough to keep politics out of it.

It's funny. If he'd been told he resembled GWB and he said the same things, the left would throw him overboard in a New Yawk minute.

But here we are, looking for reasons to admire Bill Clinton.
How soon we forget.

No one is looking for a reason to admire Bill Clinton. If you don't like hicks fine, no one is forcing you to read this thread or anything about him.

And it is YOU that keeps wanting to talk about Clinton in an AI thread. Maybe YOU like Clinton more than you realize.

You don't have to respond to my posts if they irritate you.
I'll never admire, defend, or endorse anything Clinton, or anyone who does.

I do believe the owner of this forum would support that.

One -track minds are BORING.

Would support what?

I agree with Wolfstar, CajunConservative, retrokitten, EmilyGeiger, over30withabrain and the others that Hicks hasn't done anything or said anything against President Bush, this country, our flag or our troops. If Condi Rice likes and supports him, and plans to write a congratulatory letter to him, I'm not sure why you think you know better than Rice and want to hold us little people to a higher standard than Condi Rice.

Mr. Robinson, as long as doodlelady has already pinged you to the thread, can you do something about her constantly trying to stir up trouble in this thread?
