We also ate at an Italian restaurant where the owner, a black man, informed us that "he didn't have time for that illegal mess". Everyplace was busy. I think most everyone, "Gringos", were doing their part.
We did go around and post notes on the doors of 3 Mexican restaurants that were closed, telling them we wouldn't be back.
