The most interesting part is the first paragraph. This is how Nifong thinks he gets around the standard method of presenting photo line-ups. Instead of asking the victim-witness if she sees any of her attackers in a series of photos that may or may not include anybody from the suspect group, the photos are presented to her as people who were there and if she recognizes any of them as being there and what her interaction was with them.
The other problem arises in paragraph 1 on p.2. The victim-witness is told that the photos will be of the people believed to have been at the party. So Mangum knew going into the series of photos that she could basically pick anybody.
She managed to come up with the two wealthiest players. No doubt somebody did some homework for her.
This really, really stinks.
I have to believe Finnerty's arrest in DC had to play a part in his selection in addition to his family's wealth.
But if she was coached, where did she get the bit about the moustache?
