I still don't know why SOMEBODY can't run against him come the fall?...I think a REAL election would bring out a lot more people and even Pubs would support anyone BUT Nifong the Nicompoop.....

I agree that someone should run against Nifong - they can at least point out his shortcomings, and there sure are a lot of them.

Just wondering if his hatred of Black is due to her turning down his advances? Or is it jealousy? She handled well a high profile homicide (the Michael Peterson case).

Somebody mentioned that he had been previously married. Would be interesting to hear what his ex had to say. As to him appearing confident, maybe its the support given him by Durham or maybe its drugs.

I share your suspicion about Nifong's reason for getting rid of Black - couldn't stand the competition.

I wish somebody would run against him, too. They have until June-something to collect signatures and file.
