GOP Looking For Dough

Posted on 04/25/2006 2:34:23 PM PDT by slomotion

I receive a lot of email for contributions from GOP Chairman Ken Mehilman. I replied this time with the following comments.

I'm a little taped out on cash right now. The high cost of gas is causing me to be a lot more conservative on spending. The gas companies are not the problem, the high taxes and regulations imposed on gas companies is a big part of the problem. We must be less dependent on foreign oil and dependent on our own resources. The democrats have imposed too many oil producing regulations, taxes and block any attempts to become self dependent in producing our own oil products. The democrats have been successful with the help or none actions of republicans.

I am saying here what many republications are thinking, the republication leadership is weak and do not have the desire to hammer home every day how the democrat party are aiding and abetting the enemy openly and is extremely weak on keeping a stong America. The democrat leadership are loading us up with ammunition to attack them on their traitorous and treasonous behavior. Their lies are so obvious and it would be simple to tell the American voters how dangerous the democrats are.

I feel we need new republican leadershlip, leaders that act like leaders and will put our country interests ahead of personal feeling and desires. I am a stong republican and will vote primarily republican but I will hold my nose at the polling booth this time.

I just sent one back to dear old Ken today, it said simply "I gave all my Republican donations for the year to the Minutemen".

I think you expressed how many of us are feeling. You told the GOP what they need to hear. You made me feel guilty I didn't take the time to do the same thing.

"but I will hold my nose at the polling booth this time."

Me, too!

Usually, I only have to hold my nose if I'm in line behind a Democrat voter, but this year, it's different.

I gave them my donation along with a nice letter of explanation. On the flip side I wrote it in Spanish too, so they can all read it.

There is a rage boiling among the grass roots for a variety of reasons. The frustration level can be seen daily on FR. New leadership is the only thing that will save the Republicans.

The game being played by the Rs is conservatives have no place to go...but these Rs and their consultants will see what happens on the next election.

I think the RNC might be getting a lot of replys vs. money. I have told them, many times, that it seems my hard earned money goes to waste on Republicans who do not know what sacrifices it took to get them to a majority and watch them piss it away.

That is great! I haven't had a call in a few weeks but I am going to tell the next person who calls asking for donations to try and get it from their real constituents, the illegal aliens.
