A film version of the American TV series 24 will be filmed in London, its star Kiefer Sutherland has said.
Sutherland revealed the plans in an interview with Jonathan Ross on his BBC chat show, Friday Night with Jonathan Ross, which will be broadcast tonight.
Asked about plans for a film, the 39-year-old actor, who was born in London, said: "We're working on that, we'll shoot the film here.
"We're really excited about it. In the US 24 was slow to catch on but in the UK it was big so Fox stuck with it, so thank you Britain."
Wow, very curious how they will do this?
Cram a whole 24 day into a two hour or so flick....
Shoot, I'd sit in a theater for the full 24, as long as they'd let me leave every 4 hours or so to take a break :)
