Most people do and those who don't, with one exception, just skip my posts.
I would never reveal something that would ruin the show for anyone. Those who want to know the spoilers can attest to the fact that I only discuss it in private.
I never said you ruined the show. When we're reading along, we don't always see who posted until after we read the post (since the sig is at the bottom).
What you ruin is the ability for the rest of us to be surprised at what is important, and what is not important.
If you tell us that the meeting is really important, that distinguishes it from a half-dozen other things that happened in the show that may or may not have been important, and gives us information that we otherwise wouldn't have.
And that does slightly lessen the enjoyment of the show.
But obviously not enough to make up for the increased enjoyment of skimming through the show posts while watching the show.
I can't believe you don't even understand the issue, and therefore keep trying to explain it to you. If, understanding exactly what you are doing, you don't give a d*mn about it, that's fine, nobody's asking you to leave.
But I still hold out some small ray of hope that, if I could get you to understand HOW this small number of posts of yours DURING the show detract from the show for some of us, you might find a kind spot in your heart to put your "important-parts-of-the-show" posts in using spoiler blanking, or at the end of the 1-hour episode with a warning up top, so the few of us know to skip them.
I'm not saying you have to do that. If I were you, and someone asked me to, that's what I do, because of how I wish to treat my fellow man.
If you like, the next time I complain about your posts, I could explicitly remove you from the ping -- but that would violate the general rule that when you talk about someone, you ping them.
You know that rule, although it is routinely violated in these live threads because it's too hard to type in a person's name before posting.
