Could be...I just cannot figure it out. Does she not trust him totally; wouldn't him knowing what was going on maybe keep him from being blindsided?

Yeah, they are. Xander Berkeley and Sarah Clarke actually meet while working together on Season 1 of "24" and got married about a year later.
Apparently everyone on the shows refers to them as "The First Couple of 24".

Thanks as always COEX- hopefully you did not get yourself into trouble with the FR censors- man is she hot- too bad her character was so rotten.
BTW- not only did I really like the "Audrey" pics the article about her being a "24 Hour Mom" was really really impressive. With two married couples on the show and people with great values like her- this show is an oasis in the otherwise unseemly cess pool of hollyweird.
