There were enough players there to know whether or not that was said. I just want to know if this account is true. The defense will not say.

Why would they give a total account in the press? The Pros. could use that info against them. And the accuser and witnesses for the State could fine-tune their accounts to better fit with what the players were being said.

If I was a Defense Attorney, that is exactly what I would do--leak out tiny details that show reasonable doubt (if not total innocence)and hold my major cards close to my vest. It would be foolhardy to show everything he's got before the strippers are locked into their stories.

By trying the case in the media, we winnow the jury pool down to those who are out of touch or dishonest enough to deny having an opinion when they really do.

I agree, but once indicted, I can understand a defendant with exculpatory evidence ( a solid alibi) wanting to get it out as soon as possible. These are kids and the parents must be beside themselves. Maybe the attorneys couldn't reign them in?

Perhaps, the attorneys for Finnerty and Seligmann do not know specifically whether racial slurs were used or, if so, what racial slurs were used because their clients were not present when any slurs were made.

Catherine Crier and her ilk probably wouldn't see anything wrong even if they were to see with their own eyes Kim setting small furry animals on fire. The way Crier and Co. have been acting--really reminds me of how the feminists twisted themselves into knots defending Clinton.
