I heard early on that Finnerty's attorney NEVER talks to the press about his cases or clients.

And I have heard that some of the defense attorneys are upset with some of what is being released.

I think Reade's attorney was correct in getting the cabby story out for everyone to see, but now they need to keep quiet so this DA will not change events to suit the evidence.
Thats just my opinion anyway.

I agree. They've got enough out there to raise HUGE doubt. What's needed now is a full-court press exposé on the two whores - photos, criminal histories, the whole nine yards. Show them for the sleaze they are.
