I have tried to convey that stripping is not an honorable job. I have tried to convey that young boys should not get drunk and hire strippers.

Well yeah, but people shouldn't over eat and make themselves unhealthy either but they do. It's not something that I'd do but I have no problem with people that do. That's just life.

I said that to my husband, yesterday.
I also doubt that she was sober enough to identify ANYONE!

Was -- (1) a physical examination made that showed rough sexual activity,

(2) were the results of that examination then reported to the accuser (perhaps in question format, such as "have you had sex with anyone tonight?"),

(3) and (with the police present and presumably having one existing charge of public intoxication against the accuser), does the accuser (perhaps wishing to avoid an additional charge of prostitution, or explain the evidence of the sexual activity to a boyfriend), only then claim rape?

It would be interesting to know when the police first heard the accuser claim rape (or, for that matter, it would be interesting to know whether the rape charge even originated with the accuser -- it could have originated with the examining nurse, been adopted by the police, and only adopted by the accuser after sobering up and hearing about it).

One point unmentioned by anyone on these threads is the background and expertise of the Sexual Assault Nurse-Examiner (SANE). How many examinations has she performed and found evidence consistent with sexual abuse?

Or, more important, how many times has she performed a sexual assault examination and actually concluded that no sexual abuse occurred?

Use of a condom leaves lubricants, microscopic pieces of latex and more than likely, pubic hairs.

No mention of a foreign object in this case.

Oh, I imagine there are quite a few pissed off black strippers in Durham (pissed off at Kim and Chrystal that is). From now on I bet a lot of people who are still brave enough to actually hire escorts/strippers will make it very clear they ONLY want white strippers.

Indeed. I imagine her employer isn't very happy about the situation either. In fact, these two have probably completely stopped any house call stripper business in the state.

Wow, if you can be confused and mix these other issues into a case where innocent men could be sent to prison for sixteen (16) years .....

And trust me, life ain't easy for a rapo in the joint.

There is evidence that she got cuts and bruises to her legs before she got to the party, and I wonder if she might have had been physically abused or had "rough sex" with her "boyfriend" or a paying customer.

The general rule for rape shield laws is that evidence of prior sexual behavior by the alleged victim is inadmissible, but what you're wondering about would fall squarely into one of the exceptions: evidence of prior sexual acts by the alleged victim tending to show that injuries, semen, etc. came from someone other than the defendant are not prohibited by that rule.

I'm not at all familiar with North Carolina's evidence laws, but I'm almost definitely sure that they're modelled off of the federal rules because, well, that's what every other state does. I can't remember which rule in the FRE it is, specifically; it's somewhere in the late 400s, between 413 and 415.

It's amazing you already know they are innocent when there is apparently one who hasn't even been arrested yet so we don't know his story.

Most of what has been said on her is speculation, which is fun and entertaining but it ain't a court of law.

This is where the DADA is his dumbest to me. The more racial/sexual polarization that goes on the less he benefits. I believe he is running against an African-American male candidate and a European-American woman candidate.

1. The worse African-Americans feel treated the more the people who fall will race baiting will vote for the African-American candidate. [I doubt like the black strippers all African-American males think this lynch mob is a good idea, but the DADA is not getting this segment of votes.

2. The worse women feel treated the more women may turn to voting for the woman candidate. Again I do not believe it will be monolithic.

3. And I can not see many European-American males or any other group lining up to vote for the DADA based on this case.

So I think the DADA may have come up with a strategy that will minimize his vote total and lead to him finishing 3rd or last among the candidates. Pretty amazing feat for an incumbent?

I don't think anyone deserves to be falsely accused of anything ever. I also think if people used common sense more, these situations wouldn't happen.

I just flipped to Cavuto who had Wendy(hang em high) Murphy on and Steve Malzberg. She keeps referring to the players as rapists.

My husband has been to a few bachelor parties in his life and more than one of them ended up at a strip club.

It never bothered me. No way, no how would my husband part with a dollar bill (or a five or a ten) just to have an ugly, looked like she had been rode hard & put up wet, stripper shake her boobs in his face.

They rarely look like the women of men's fantasies, LOL!
