Thanks. That's the most complete timeline of seen matching Seligmann's activities to the photo evidence. As far as he is concerned, case closed. He didn't rape that woman.

One thing I forgot to mention is that the lacrosse team's collective behavior had previously come to the attention of school authorities, and the university president had previously told the coach to clean it up. Apparently, he didn't, and this was the last straw. So it wasn't quite as simple as I first thought, that the program was dumped solely on the basis of this one incident.

After that DC detective's interview on BO last night, I have a feeling that Durham Police already know quite a bit about this woman.
The detective said that the police know where she was earlier in the evening and that she had been intoxicated before the party.
To: Howlin
The more I think of this, instead of saying "No deal for players" the attorneys should be saying "No deal for prosecutor to get out of his bind"

Also, the fact that the Durham police are leaking to the detective tells us they aren't comfortable with the whole thing. They had to know he was going to appear on BO's show...

Thanks for the new TL, I was just going to ask for one... There are one or two items that are missing that seem relevant to me.
1. When the strippers left the room at 12:04, did they go directly to the BR or did they leave the house and come back in? If they left the house, did they get all the way to the car? If so that reduces the amount of time they could have been in the BR.
2. The neighbor says the one stripper was in the car at sometime between 12:20 and 12:30 she got out and went back to "get her shoe"
3. Are the photos which begin at 12:30 of her on the back porch after she got out of the car the first time and is trying to get back in?
The guy who took the pictures of her on the back porch knows everything there is to know about this case. Whatever happened when she went back to get her shoe. Either she got back in the house and was thrown out the back door and fell down the steps. Or she fell on her own.
She's looking for something while on the porch. Could be the money they shoved under the door that she forgot or something else that may have distracted her and caused her to fall and hurt her leg.
When she falls or is pushed, now she's really pi$$ed, threatens to call someone, police, pimp, or both. That's why the guys cleared out so fast.... and hence the comments made in CAB #2...
But the time line, if updated could indicate that the windows of opportunity for 30 minutes of kicking, choking and raping are growing smaller....

I said days ago dropping the charges will never be enough for these boys and their families; and the lawyers are furious -- they're as mad as any attorneys I've seen in all my days in court.

It is every cop's nightmare when a DA takes operational control of an investigation. Sounds like DPD has just stood back and said "OK, you're the man, we'll do it your way".
I suspect these guys are doing memorandums for the record for when the SHTF, showing they tried to keep the train from jumping the tracks.
Ahhh Retirement!

Could you please put me on your ping list?
To: OakOak
Thanks. And hopefully, we will be able to view those warrants soon. But I was wondering if anyone knew if all previous warrants had been unsealed. Was the McFayden warrant the only one sealed and then later unsealed or were there more?

To me this is the truth because I noticed the Durham chief of police was rolling his eyes to the ceiling while DipThong(thanks Michael Savage) was holding one of his little media conferences a couple of weeks ago. Also, someone posted that they also noticed at that same presser, when the C.O.P was asked a question about the investigation he made a comment like, 'the DA says investigation is moving along, that means its moving along.' (something like that). I remember someone posted the comment on the forum, because they thought it was odd, and was an indication the C.O.P was not happy. Very perceptive, because now it's been mentioned by the former detective on O'Reilly that the Durham Police are not happy. It was me. It was a TV interview at the NCCU hate fest. However, I'm not sure it was the C.O.P. See here for some links about that

That detective also stated that NOTHING SHE HAS SAID REGARDING THAT EVENING CHECKS OUT, and as far as they were concerned she has VERY LITTLE CREDIBILITY.
Duham PD knows where this is going and they don't want to be hit when the sh!t hits the fan.

If just a year old photo can change so much than just the fact that the lacrosse team team had a druken party with a stripper should ruin these college students. You would judge them so? Fit for ruin over a single dalience? You're scales are crooked.
And NO means NO means NO! IT DOESN'T MATTER WHO OR WHAT A PERSON HAS DONE IN THE PAST! If the stripper said NO the guys should have backed off.
They will prove their innocence at trial, though it is shameful that they must.

Do you think there's any signifigance that they leaked to a black detective?
To: panthermom
And I wonder if they're doing every thing they can to undermine his election bid because if we wins they'll have to deal with him for another 4 years. There could be some significant word of mouth in the part of the community that would otherwise be inclined to vote for Nifong.
To: panthermom
FWIW, I think that's very significant. They don't want to be in the way when the tree falls...

Yes, I don't know what's going on inside of course, but there is a strong possibility that Nifong has gone over the line at some point.
If it can be documented and sustained, there could be Federal prison time for those involved. These cops are stuck between a hard place and a rock. For their sake and for the future of law enforcement in this country, I'm hoping there doing the CYA bit if ya know what I mean ;-)
To: Locomotive Breath
It is absolutely frightening to me that a DA, elected to be an advocate for the people of the community would do such a horrible thing for personal gain. He is blind with ambition. Hopefully more than 50% of Durham is sane and show up to get rid of this guy. BTW, are there any comments regarding this from 2 running against him?
