I asked a Reporter making the rounds on the National shows if he had checked to see whether she was, in-fact, attending classes when the event occured.

He wrote me and said, "That's easy enough to find out and it's a good question"

Now, he doesn't respond to me..

I thought early on (real early) that she was lying and the press was of the mind "why would she lie?"

I pointed out the discrepancies in her and her Father's stories and I got back a lot of messages asking me "How I knew her name?" I'm still getting accusing e-mails from Major Newspaper Editors that apparently reporters "kicked up " the chain - asking for my last name or what my involvement is in the case.

A local Radio guy went on National TV and parroted the line about - she's a single mother with 2 kids WORKING her way through college. We have to admire that, he said. I saw him at Duke and I asked him and his producer if they KNOW that's she's working her way through college and not going on Gov't Grants. They both admitted no one had checked on how she financed college.

Since nothing has been leaked by the DEF, I suspect that she was attending NCCU as she says. However, even the Defense is on guard for being attacked by the Media as using the Nuts and Sluts defense or tarring the victim in any way.
