Some players volunteered DNA and did go give interviews.

When the police jumped in their faces and accused them of being liars and rapists.. They got lawyers and the lawyers declined to give more interviews.

Absolute untruth. The players were never ordered by the court to submit to DNA tests. Their representation received a letter from Nifong stating that if they refused to submit, then he would get the court order. The players then decided to all volunteer for testing.
