I missed the first 2 minutes of the show and my earplug fell out a coulple times, but I never heard him say that. I could've missed it but I've heard most of the show and I definitely heard his say she was setup by his Ham buddy.
Oh yes, I heard the "ham buddy" thing too. But the "she didn't know if I was as poor as a church mouse" comment stuck in my head...... because it's so descriptive. I heard it as clear as I'll hear the Easter church bells in the morning.
I don't believe that she did not know anything of his $$$. (not that there's anything wrong with that ;-) ).
Art's out there - a little nutty, but he's a good guy, I think. I'd hate to see him get "taken for a ride" at this point in his life. He seems a little innocent about women (jmo).
