ABC is preparing to dismiss the first female president of The United States -- after less than a year on the job!
While it is not clear if the country is ready for a woman to take the title of COMMANDER IN CHIEF, TV executives at ABC have all but decided to pull the plug on the breakthrough drama, top sources tell the DRUDGE REPORT.

"No one here will say publicly that it's over [for the show]," a well-placed insider said this week from Los Angeles. 'But it is over."
The program returns this evening after a long recess -- with the president's husband groping an intern!
THE IMPEACHABLE OFFENSE: LOW VIEWERSHIP
ABC suits will not renew COMMANDER unless audience levels can hold a 15 share, a source claims. The show crashed from a high of nearly 17 million viewers for its second episode to 10.4 million for its last, Jan. 24.
Geena Davis as President Mackenzie was launched with much fanfare and topical news crossover:
A search of the NEXIS database shows 918 press stories containing the terms "Geena Davis" and "Hillary Clinton."
"On 'COMMANDER IN CHIEF,' art can now imitate life," cheered the SAINT PAUL PIONEER PRESS.
But at season's end, the New York senator's handlers are surely hoping that real life does not imitate the art.
Maybe they will send it where bad tv shows go to die: Friday night.
Hillary is not happy...and neither is Helen Thomas!
They brought it back for a week after having been on hiatus...I guess it will be on permanent hiatus....
Oh well...looks like the DNC hacks in the media will have to find another way to brainwash Americans into thinking that Hillary! would be a reasonable choice for president.
Anyone who thinks that this show was anything other than a propaganda effort to benefit her looming candidacy is reality impaired.
I caught the first 5-10 mins last night. The First Man, (her hubby) was at some gala event drinking champagne and stumbled in the parking lot and grabbed an interns boob by mistake. The cameras caught it. The next morning Ms. Pres. was in the kitchen cooking an omeltte and started to argue with her "First Man. Her MOM (yes her mon) comes in and makes a comment about it which Geena replies to her "Mom Please!" What a ridiculuous show!
Yeah, I tuned out after about the third episode.
Hey! You're bursting my bubble that Hollywood is full of original-thinking writers that reflect America at its best!
This show has been dead in the water for months, bury it and get it over with!
why are people talking about a sucky show. Never watched an episode.
Think about the "Commander-in-Chief" show. Now think about "24". Pretty funny, eh?
Gina Davis used to be hot, but (sadly) none of the many chances she's been given on TV have panned out. She should have stayed married to Jeff.
I don't watch it, but I would rather have Desperate Housewives on TV than propoganda like Commander-In-Chief.
The new show will be nothing like the old one, said ABC. In the new show, following an unusual series of events, a senator from New York with terrible cankles is elevated to the highest office in the land. The show will raise the daring question, is the country ready for a president with terrible cankles?
The network has denied that the new show is intended to build support for the presidential candidacy of Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton of New York.
I watched last night's episode, and it was easy to tell that the show was dying. You could almost hear the "tick, tick, tick" of the countdown timer (ala "24" style...)
That being said, the show really slammed the DNC (yes, the DNC!) towards the end of the hour. For those who didn't watch/refused to watch/whatever, one of the DNC cronnies drugged the First Hubbie's drink, causing him to stumble, appear drunk and then grope the hottie. Basically, it was all a setup. And, they got caught.
Well .. how can she be impeached - isn't her party in charge of Congress ..??
Does anybody connected with this show have any idea how the govt actually runs ..??
