AMERICA - The Right Way!! (Day 1909) [Remember the Trade Center!!]
Various News Sources and FReepers | April 14, 2006 | All of Us

We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail!

Good morning!!

Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!

The New York Times has officially gone of the deep end. They hate the administration so much that they have lost all logic. They found a bunch of retired generals that oppose Bush's Iraq policy and they say this poses a threat to Rumsfeld's hold over the Pentagon. The retired, as in no longer there, generals pose the threat.

Absent any Federal answer to the problem, a number of local jurisdictions are now taking it upon themselves to locate and detain illegal immigrants that commit any offense until INS officials take the perpetrators.

Moussaoui was on the stand yesterday in Federal court in Alexandria, VA. He said that he had "no remorse, whatsoever" about 9/11, and that he wished there had been such attacks "September 12, September 13, September 14, September 15, and every day."

Occassionally, very, very, very, very occassionally, the ACLU does the right thing. They have agreed to file a lawsuit on behalf of a 15-year-old Fallbrook High student in San Diego, CA, if the school does not remove a reprimand from her record for bringing a small (presumably in the 3" x 4.5" size range) American flag tucked into a pocket.

For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.

I will pray every morning and every night that the Primary Voters of this nation will see straight thru McLaim. The only thing larger than his attitude is his ego.

While he was in Cedar Rapids yesterday, speaking in front of a bunch of Labor Union people, he challenged them to go to Phoenix and pick lettuce for $50 per hour, every day for the entire season. Then he said, "You can't do it. But 'they' can.

Our statewide conservative talkradio host was all over it this morning.

I personally think he's so full of himself, he'll stay in the Primary race to the end, and then be spiteful and arrogant with the next POTUS, just like he's done to GWB.

Hi tillacum - I see you planted potatoes also. If you've never had your own homegrown potatoes, you are in for a treat. There is nothing like them in stores. You dig them up and an hour later make them for dinner and they are so good! I planted red skin ones and when they are little yet I just boil them in the jackets and eat them with butter, jackets and all. Yum!!

People were planting potatoes like crazy today in our little community.

The tradition is to plant your potatoes on Good Friday. I don't know why.

I know the tradition is Good Friday. My neighbor was going by when we were planting on Wednesday and she said "you should wait until Friday. My Dad always planted on Good Friday even if he had to shovel snow to do it". I said I'd take my chances on planting on Weds.I've never done it on Good Friday but I noticed my next door neighbors did theirs today.

There's a special kind of tap dance a good reporter has to do in order to not slant the story; it is often too tempting to give the "upper management" what spin it wants. Maybe he'll take after his uncle and be an iconoclast!
