Their search for elusive relevance in all the wrong places like Pat Robinson and Falwell in politics just makes it harder to warn about preparedness for the end times.

My prediction is that the end will come when everyone has pretty much given up the idea that the end is near.

Just to be honest with you, if the end came today, I would be surprised. So would everyone else....including those who say it could happen at any time.

Today would be a good day, then, since "no man knows the day or the hour."

I have no doubt that the bible is futuristic and not "completed." However, I do think that we need to do some serious rethinking of what we mean by that. I have trouble tolerating the notion, for example, that Philadelphia was the 18th & 19th century missionary church. Such overlays are so arbitrary.
