I called the general number at my old company, and asked for a Mr. Whoozits that was my Director, and very PO'ed about my golden parachute to take a culinary sabbatical and leave his turf...

Receptionist replied that his number was now listed in Sweden, did I have a code to connect? or did I want the number.....

Sheesh. You leave for a few years and everything changes.

When I called a Senior VP that I helped to move up, voice mail answered. I guess that Jan isn't working for him anymore.

I was hoping she could fill me in on the changes.

It's so much cleaner in a commercial kitchen with the knife fights &ct....
