I watched "Alias" only one time. It was about corruption within the CIA. For that reason, I watched it never again.
The same thing happened with "24." It is about double-cross, spying, etc, within the gov't.
Both programs cast a bad light on the gov't by commie Hollyweird and should be taken off of the air, directors, producers and writers, etc should be put into re-education camps and/or prison.
End of story.

Our government IS corrupt. Why does seeing it exaggerated on TV bother you?

I think that's called a "snap judgment." On Alias, it turns out the corruption was NOT in the CIA, but in some shadowy group that was passing itself off as the CIA. The good guys were in the CIA.
As for corruption in government--what on earth would you call the Clinton administration, if not "corruption in government"?

Alias isn't about corruption in the CIA... SD6 was an illegal arms and intelligence network that was masquerading as the CIA. The whole point of the first two years was to bring down SD6. Sometimes it takes more than 1 show to figure out a JJ Abrahms plot. :)
