If you watch Kiefer Sutherland and "24," you learn to handle 60 minutes of tension, heartbreak and deception each week. And that's just between the characters of the president and the first lady.
But although fans love it, even the most ardent learn to overlook a lot regarding plot devices and characters.
Example: Jack Bauer, toughest guy on the planet and lead terrorist hunter, who can withstand torture, gunshots, drugs and severe mental anguish, found a pretty cool job for his annoying daughter, Kim.
After her stint as a runaway and a troubled teen in season one, she became an agent at the Counter Terrorism Unit (CTU).
Kim, whose previous claim to heroic fame was escaping a wildcat while lost in the mountains of southern California, was now among the elite specialists who would save the lives of everyday Americans should the very worst take place. God help us.

At the risk of repeating others' comments, 24 is a GREAT show. It stays pretty non-political. For instance, we don't know exactly what party the current president belongs to (but we suspect he's a RINO).
And the producing/writing team behind the show is very Conservative friendly.
Last year, Rush visited the 24 set and was impressed with everyone he met.
And this photo was taken just two weeks ago ...
But all of that is beside the point. 24 is one of the best--if not the best--show on TV.

it will break my heart if Chloe is somehow revealed to be a turncoat. That simply can't happen. That would be the "jump the shark" moment that would send the masses to the studio with pitchforks.

Based on some spoilers I've read the past few days, there is no doubt that David Palmer is dead.

Both programs cast a bad light on the gov't by commie Hollyweird and should be taken off of the air, directors, producers and writers, etc should be put into re-education camps and/or prison.

Hey Jonny! The tat on his left forearm is real. It's Our Lady of Guadalupe and he said he got it because it's "fits" the neighborhood (Silverlake) where his music studio, Ironworks, is located. From a distance, it looks like a big crawly thing on his arm. ;)
On his right forearm, he just got some runes tattooed in Iceland in Dec or Jan.It says "I Trust You To Kill Me".

LOL. I like...

That line works with kids, too. 8~)

I've watched plenty of episodes but it always ends up vexing meIf you started watching in the middle, I can understand the confusion--that's why I've never been into Alias or Lost. But if you could start from the very first episode of the first season you might have a better reaction.

[Is it any good? Or is it just another liberal claptrap show like "West Wing." ]
Take West Wing, rotate 180 degrees. It is great.
