6 days for a Tinker? Is that one of your slower machines? Is it a Pentium, if so rhat specs?

I've got a Tinker project 1162 about to finish that downloaded yesterday morning. That works out to nearly 175 pts/day. That's about as good of a points per day as I get.

The machine the problems is running on (AMD 64, 2 ghz) is pretty good, but not top of the line for sure. I have read that Tinker runs better on an AMD, but I haven't seen figures to back it up.

The 2106 problems are the ones I dread, I get less than half the points per day as I will get for the Tinker above.

Takes my PowerBook G4 667 11 days to do it.

Presently @ 53.5% and 6 more days to go.

I have thot of somehow dumping these when i get them and see what comes next but I figure everyone else is getting them so it evens out over time - and take my lumps.

Someone has to fold it eventually and I'll catch up later.
