The dinosaurs died off around 65 million years ago and we know somethings about them. They're history now. Wouldn't this be a proto monkey?

This is a while back, obviously, and in South America; be nice to have more of the skeleton, in particular, one of the front paws; 'cause as we all know, American primates are not true monkeys, because of the number of their fingers. The only possible exception to this was the cryptid shot by an expedition to the Amazon back in the 1930s, photographed, and alas not preserved.
