AMERICA - The Right Way!! (Day 1894) [Remember the Trade Center!!]

We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail!

Good morning!!

Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of the Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!

No State shall, without the Consent of Congress, lay any Duty of Tonnage, keep Troops, or Ships of War in time of Peace, enter into any Agreement or Compact with another State, or with a foreign Power, or engage in War, unless actually invaded, or in such imminent Danger as will not admit of delay. [United States Constitution, Article I, Section 10]

Invade--vt...2. To encroach or intrude upon, violate. ... 4. To enter and spread harm through. [The American Heritage Dictionary]

Unbelievable acts have taken place throughout several cities in the United States. Most noteworthy are the illegal demonstrations by illegally resident aliens in Los Angeles. Not only have folks who have been in this country not been worried about getting caught and deported, but they have brazenly and publicly displayed their anger toward any attempt to identify and remove them.

And why not? Just yesterday, the INS apologized to the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) for using a "safety seminar" at a United States military facility in North Carolina as a way to catch illegal immigrants--and told OSHA, an arm of the Federal Government they would not do that again.

But look where INS caught the illegals--WORKING ON A UNITED STATES MILITARY FACILITY. The United States government PAID for these people to work in an establishment that is designed to protect us from invaders. The invaders themselves are the ones working there! Unfathonable! The Government assures us the illegals were not working in sensitive areas, but only in jobs such as janitorial type functions and what not--but is anyone checking to see what they're checking in the trash?

More to the point--why doesn't the Government just secure the base, round them up, and send them home?

The answer is Mexico. If your cork hasn't been popped, this will do it, most certainly.

The Mexican foreign minister ha this to say about our country's southern border: The United States cannot secure its southern border without Mexico's blessing. It will not have Mexico's blessing until America agrees to the Mexican demands. ... Unless both governments bit the bullet and reach understanding on all encompassing joint border security, with adequate funding and infrastructure, the violence and criminal activity at the border will remain unabated." He said this to the United States Senate Committee on Foreign Relations! A spokesperson for our southern neighbor openly admitted to our legislature they have control over the migration problem and intend to do nothing about it.

Invasion.

In addition, the Mexican government spent a quarter of a million dollars taking out full page ads in the Washington Post, the New York Times, and the Los Angeles Times. Entitled "A MESSAGE FROM MEXICO ABOUT MIGRATION", it took the purchased space to condemn HR 4437, a bill in the House of Representatives (since neutered by the spineless Senators) to stop illegal immigration into America. What you had was a foreign government buying very expensive ad space to promote their policy.

Invasion.

Indeed, the infiltration of the invaders runs deep. Besides the round up on a United States military facility (invasion!), it has come to be known that the recent demonstrations were financed and inspired by American labor unions--meaning they have a vested interest in the illegal population. Why? Probably because they are getting dues from these folks into their coffers. Money they stand to loose if the interlopers are sent back wence they came.

Invasion!

Which then means we are treated with a foreign flag flown from a flag pole on a public building on American soil--a high school, no less, a supposed fountain of information and learning financed by AMERICAN tax dollars--in a position superior to the native country's flag. Our flag. The one people have fought and died to defend. Ironically, the one that in the current state represents an ability for these people who shouldn't even be here to express their opinion. Trashed. Worse, besides being flown in a subordinate position to the Mexican standard, it was flown upside down.Well, maybe they got that part right. Maybe we are in trouble, in distress. There were signs in some of the protests over the weekend that read: If you think I'm ‘illegal' because I'm a Mexican learn the true history because I'm in my homeland."

Invasion!

But that wasn't the only sign, there was also: "This is stolen land". And "Viva Mexico".

Invasion!

Don't think, however, that Mexico would tolerate this sort of thing happening in their land, no sirree. A translation of Article XXXIII of the Mexican Constitution reads: ...to expel from the national territory immediately and without necessity of judicial proceedings all foreigners whose stay [the government] judges inconvenient. Foreigners may not in any manner involve themselves in the political affairs of the country....

So, if you are in Mexico, even legally, and you demonstrate, out you go. Period. No questions. No hearing. No due process. Nothing. You're gone.

But here? You get a hearing. You may even be released back into the great hinterland "to appear later", and of course, you do not, because, except for the one happenstance, you have avoided the INS.

Invasion!

So what to do?

Theoretically, people come across our southern border because it is economically attractive to do so. So, change that paradigm. Turn the United States into an economic desert for illegal immigrants. Find nothing here.

The Congress could pass legislation along the lines of fining anyone who hired an illegal alien $1 million or 10% of corporate income, whichever is greater, per day, per individual hired. That would shut it down. The rest of us, don't take their money. If someone comes into your store and wants to buy something, and they look Mexican, ask for their green card (it's actually blue--so why does the Government want to make the guest worker card blue in color so it cannot be distinguished from the "green" card easily?) and if they cannot produce it and cannot verify citizenship, don't take their money.

As we did with the British two hundred years ago when they were in our land, establish Committees of Correspondance to look after these sorts of things. Boycott companies that do business based upon labor from illegal aliens. Demand that our Congressmen and Senators ensure there are no illegals working on ANY Government facility. That, at a minimum, needs to stop--NOW!

Folks, we're being invaded, and we need to respond as such!

Don't let this...

...happen again. EVER!!

It is a supreme insult to the citizens of this land, and to those who worked hard to come here legally.

I PLEDGE ALLEGIENCE
TO THE FLAG
OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA,
AND TO THE REPUBLIC
FOR WHICH IT STANDS,
WITH LIBERY, AND JUSTICE,
FOR ALL!

But only if you're hear legally.

If not, go home, before we send you home.

For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.

Hi! We are supposed to get the leading edge of those storms sometime after midnight, and then more severe weather later tomorrow.

I managed to get 4 beds cleaned today. (Superficial cleaning...cutting stuff back and pulling out large grass clumps.) Leaves are still there for protection, as I expect colder weather next week.

I think I have lost a lot of my Becky daisies and mums. I was worried about that since we had a really cold spell (temperatures in the single digits) early in December after a fairly warm fall. Maybe it's still too early to expect new growth, but it looks right now like I am going to have to replace a lot of stuff. Fooey.

No I had not seen that, but I do know some Houstonians do not appreciate going into some stores and the clerks cannot speak English. It's amazing.

We ran into that in Florida 15 years ago. My husband was amazed; he didn't know that there were that many Hispanic people in Florida.

A comedian Robins wrote something similar to that. I've forgotten his name, but he was in "Good Morning Vietnam".
Short memory.

Sometimes I think about that too Dog. It amazes me how many Americans do NOT KNOW we are at war. Amazing.

My mums are up. So are the wild daisies. I don't have Becky, so I don't know what sort of a time schedule "she" is on.

My guess is you lost the mums. What color were they? Some colors are hardier than others in my climate. Yellow does best. Burgundy does well, too. That coppery colored one does not survive Iowa winters well if not pampered.

No some of the neighborhoods speak only dialects of Indian, some Chinese, some Mexican, but these people do not speak English and expect the Americans to speak their languages. Amazing.

Gotta hit the hay. Same ole readon. It's tired.
Y'all sleep well. nite all.

Lots of colors...lavender, pink. white, yellow, copper.

I will be upset if I lost those Becky Shastas. Those were very sturdy-stemmed, long blooming daisies, much better than "Alaska."

I have a few shoots up, but not very many. I guess I will have to replace them. Bummer.

I don't know what it is with flashlights and extra batteries. They seem to take off together for long journeys and are never seen again.

Take care IG.

I am feeling somewhat better. The Zithromax is doing its thing. I'll be so glad when I feel a lot better. This really had me down.

Thanks for asking, Lysie.

Well, I thought I could stay up until 10:00 pm when the 'meat' of the storm is predicted to arrive here. But I'm just so tired.

I'm going to go to bed. I've got a cell phone and a portable phone with me. #3 Son is on the Volunteer Fire Dept. I just had an email message from him, and they haven't been called out for Storm Watching duty, yet.

See everyone tomorrow morning.

Also, it might take longer to heal....mine did (I'm sure my age didn't have anything to do with it :^)

Our Em is still cute!

Daughter & I were out having coffee at Panera today....and afterwards, I applied my lipstick.

Em watched me very closely.....then looked at her mother----who proceeds to take out the chapstick and apply to Em's cute little mouth.

Em mimicked exactly what I had done....she held still while the chapstick was applied and then compressed her lips, blotting it....it was adorable. :)

That is my fear also.

That is so cute!

I taught my youngest granddaughter the story of The Three Bears. She can recite the whole thing, with appropriate low growly voice for Papa Bear and high squeaky voice for Baby Bear! It is so cute!

Bill Lister sang some really sad songs. ..."I'm so dog-gone blue"

Not the best lyricist that Texas ever produced.

Greetings. I'm fading fast, and mi gato forgot that she can't use claws on the human. She nailed me to the chair through a very sensitive middle toe. Screaming, wailing, thrashing.... And then I started whining about it.

The catz were glad to have me back. Now, I think they want me to go away so they can continue their wayward party ways with me gone... 8>)

My cats are both asleep, since they were outside adventuring around the back yard today.

I am as pooped as them, and am going to bed.

Good night!
