They were living in a flat in Southampton. Very unlikely that they were rich.

Try again.

I am so happy that the lords and ladies will be able to shoot each other in between pheasant and grouse hunts(sarc) (I personally prefer Deer and Turkey hunting). and 'flats' can be prohibitively high here in the States. Some areas of NY City have 'flats' that only millionaires can afford.

Now if one lives here in NY State on Long Island in the township of Southampton, well now that is the playground of the Rich. But I assume, by your reply, that the progenitor of the name Southampton is for more down to earth pursuits.

It is amusing though that guns are extremely regulated across the pond. Amusing because our gun rights precipitate from English common law.

We are currently fighting further restrictions on our own gun laws and we have good 'ammo' based on what has happened to England and Australia after their Draconian gun laws took effect. Excellent propaganda for our American NRA, who has shown pictures of massive destruction of firearms (mostly from Australia after that amusement park shooting changed their gun rights)

good luck
