Seems as though allergies are hitting hard here too. With the recent much needed rains, everything is budding out.

I think you mean "Lend Me A Tenor"...........it was performed here a few years ago but I didn't get to see it; heard it was very funny.
Here's a study guide in case you want to read up on it before you go.:)

That picture makes me so angry that I can't even say what I'm thinking for fear of being banned.

Congrats on your kid's leave. I'll be praying that it is a great time for all of you. Who knows, maybe he will not have to go back. I'll continue to pray for him.

    Thanks for the prayers.
Oh, he'll be going back. For another six months.:(
He's hoping to be home for good by Thanksgiving or maybe even by Halloween; and wants to go back to school in January.

GOOD A.M. HONORABLE CHAIR, ALL, FROM THE MISSISSIPPI GULF COAST, USA, BRUISED BUT NOT BROKEN!!!!

ONE IF BY LAND, TWO IF BY SEA! The ole lamp is showing strong in the tower concerning the INVASION from Mexico. I hear that the dimwits are counting on their votes when they get over her, requester, what the heck, they already vote now so what is the big deal to them.

I have come to the conclusion that the dims really want something drastic to happen here on W's watch, and would not discount even another plane flying into buildings, a car bomb, anything to grab the headlines to try o make the Prez look bad. i bet even the ' world sexiest' woman wants this as well, speaking o HILL-O-REE of course. I ain't trying to be crude and naughty but the LAST person I would want to wake up to and see in MY bed is her, hard to cope with nightmares ya know.

Just finished with my bowl of grits, with one FRESH FARM EGG on top of them and now, ready to face the world.

Just wanted to check in from my computer which is now in my 'shack in the back' and say howdy.

Tancredo dismayed by Senate panelBy M.E. Sprengelmeyer, Rocky Mountain News
March 28, 2006
WASHINGTON - Immigration reform legislation is doomed to stall this year if the full U.S. Senate passes the type of guest worker bill that cleared a committee hurdle Monday, U.S. Rep. Tom Tancredo said.
Tancredo, R-Colo., issued a statement lashing out at the Senate Judiciary Committee after it approved a bipartisan bill that could grant legal work status to millions of immigrants who entered the country illegally.
"No plan with amnesty and a massive increase in foreign workers will pass the House," said Tancredo, who leads the Congressional Immigration Reform Caucus.

We're doing ok. I'm veery busyat work this time of year ramping up for graduation. Most of our foreign born students are hard working,
legal citizens or registered aliens, who cooperate. This year it seems I have conversations with far too many who chose not to complete their class work and still want credit for the class. On one hand very sad (high pressure) when they are trying to pay the bills and going to school, on the other hand, I did it too, so I know it's possible.
Mr. HOB is going nuts trying to adapt to he idea that he now has to have minor sugery on a torn miniscus. This is new to him and he just found out he cannot do it in a regular out-patient clinic since he has sleep appnea. I'm sure everything will be fine.
I'm really concerned about our country and our President, as I know, all of you are. It's so nice to read about your sons accomplishments, Bev's travels, Toby's shack in the back, kay's doctor, Janey's grandson's concert, and all other musings from our group. Sometimes I'm a little put off by some responses/understanding of or lack thereof regarding my posts, but I still keep coming back! this truly is a forum of friends as it has been since when? 1993? when we were called USA vs. uo42? Just what was the name of this forum?
Anyway, our lives seem to be justly intertwined.....
So now you know how I'm doing - guess I'm a bit meloncholy (sp) but good!

Grrrr, I have lost my leather work gloves rather the dogs got them (I think), glad I purchased two more pairs last week

I put some chicken manure around my trees yesterday and if it rains I am going to just sit by them and watch them grow.
To: lysie
We are still having forest fires big time here.
