Spectre, last night you asked: "If any of you get a chance to see a replay..take notice that it appears they CUT out some of Simon's remarks to Paris. I'd LOVE to know what he said?" I promised to look for you when I watched my DVD recording.

It did not appear to me that Simon's remarks were cut. Maybe I just couldn't see what caught your eye. I did see Simon kind of trying to control Paula in the background after Taylor sang. Paula had been up dancing and waving her arms like everyone else in the crowd. Simon kind of pulled her back down into her seat, then pulled her arms back down to the table. They he said something to her. He had a smile on his face, so it seemed that he was probably joking with her.

My take on it was they were running out of time - this is a live show so they have to keep to a strict schedule. So when Simon made his comment about Paris's act being "weird", the Idol Theme Song came on abruptly to move the show along (kinda like they do at the Oscar's when someone's speech goes on too long).
