Hi, Wolfstar :)
Glad to hear Elliott was good.
Well, I'm in the minority there, apparently. Most think he was awful. But I liked what I heard.

Elliott showed people that he can sing. He is a piker on stage compared to Taylor in terms of working the crowd and being a showman but he's got legit pipes and is not afraid to go up the vocal stack.

I liked Elliot's voice and "Somebody To Love" is one my favorite Queen songs but it was off. The song was written to ease into and build up to a crescendo. The 90 second version didn't allow him to do the song correctly. He jumped right into the meat of the song and it came off "off".
As for Ms. Paris, she was terrible. The song is a great song and she just couldn't handle it. I think her biggest problem is that the outfit she wore and the Ebonics version of the lyrics made her look like she was from the 'hood in ATL not a wholesome American Idol.
My favorites were Chris and Kelly. My prediction for vote off is Paris.
