So let's see...Prince's latest single debuts at #560 on the Mediabase radio airplay charts after having been added by, count 'em, one station. (That's worse than Corey Clark territory.)

Is #560 the title? LOL His pearls of wisdom got him right where he is or isn't, as the case may be. :)

Is #560 the title?

The title of Prince's latest single is 'Fury.' It is way, way down at number 560 on the Mediabase radio airplay chart.

Mediabase tracks and charts all songs played on the radio in the U.S. They track daily and updates several times a day as new information is reported in from radio stations. At the moment there are 719 current singles on Mediabase's comprehensive chart.

On Mondays and Tuesdays, Hits Daily Double tracks incoming album sales figures from retail and other outlets. HDD doesn't track singles sales. HDD's sales chart is considered preliminary to Billboard's weekly charts.

Billboard, which publishes new charts on Thursdays, uses the radio airplay figures in combination with physical sales and internet download sales from their affiliate, Soundscan, to determine the placement of songs and albums on their weekly finals.

Paula Abdul Files Assault Charge

Friday Apr 07, 2006 7:00am EST

Paula Abdul filed assault charges with Hollywood police on Tuesday against a man who allegedly slammed her into a wall, the Associated Press reports.

The American Idol judge told police she was at a private party at about 1 a.m. on April 2 when a man she was arguing with grabbed her arm and threw her against a wall, according to a police spokesman.

"(Abdul) said she had sustained a concussion and spinal injuries," the spokesman said.

Abdul reportedly saw her doctor following the incident and said that she would make herself available for photographs of her injuries, Reuters reports.

According to the AP, Abdul, 43, gave police the man's name, but no arrests have been made.

A rep for Abdul had no comment.

Abdul, who recently renewed her Idol contract for three more years, showed no signs of distress on this week's two episodes.
