I liked the song because I think it showed Taylor has a nice smooth voice....it was hard to tell with the other songs if he could hit ranges and carry a long note....THIS song proved he can actually sing a nice song.

If he was going to do 'nice' John Denver he could have done "Annie's Song". Wouldn't take much to give that a country edge. Of the JD catalog, I'd like to have heard Hicks sing "Wild Montana Skies".

My favorite country song is Randy Travis' "Forever and Ever Amen", tho it has the line "as long as old women sit and talk about old men" which wouldn't be considered PC nowadays.
