Excellent observation. Elliot phone home!
Amen to that.
I'll be voting Taylor after Elliott leaves....
I like the Motown sound and while I don't care for Jazz, I respect the overall music ability that the performers have over the simple chords that most rock bands of that era put out. Plus, if I think of some of the "great classic tunes" of the 70's I am left wanting to vomit from their blatantly liberal BS and 60's/70's counter culture/Woodstock influence.
Yeah I agree but if we boycotted similar movie stars I'd be one bored Freeper. I really listen to the melody and don't pay much attention to the message.
Love Motown, Jazz makes my ears bleed and old timey Bluegrass hymns make me cry...hows that for diversity?
But I suspect Chris might even though I'm pulling for Kat (yellow dress). I think it's up for grabs (yellow dress) if Elliot bites the dust.
I think Katharine goes home next week. I think she is the weakest link.
So far the voting public has done well.
Mandisa was better than Kat. I think Kat stayed because she's better looking, not because of her better talent.
There were probably other factors that came into play. First off she had a couple of bad weeks, back to back. Then there was her lifestyle comment. Then she her gospel song and the crappy clothes choice.
Tell Elliot to avoid any new style they might try to throw at him! lol
Keep in mind that article about how 73% of the voters are women and they aren't so likely to vote on 'sexiness'. The women are going to notice Elliot's sensitivity to the women voted off.
You liked that yellow dress, huh? :)
Oh yea, more thing before I go. Next week is Elvis week. That is a good thing for Taylor and Elliot. I think Kat and Chris will have a harder time of it.
I think that between Kat and Elliott, the one going home next week will be the one with the weakest performance. That said, I think Elliott has an edge on Kat next week, just because audiences are used to hearing the King's songs in a male voice, not female. And audiences tend to like what is familiar to them, as long as it is well done.
I hope you are right. I have become very fond of him in a short time and would seriously like to listen to him singing after next week.
That's what I was holding out for, as well. You never know, he might come out great with Elvis and take one more week for himself.
I was calling lastnight from a different time zone (Arizona) and I had no trouble getting through. I tried both numbers and got through. Elliot's fan base must be in the South and Eastern US.
I've never seen that one....
Sorry, but it was in response to jonny's comment about gum and Ace's scar whitening your teeth. Blech.
That's great. She just seems to be so nice. Like someone who would not disappoint you if you met her in person.
Seacrest is a seriously ill jerk.
Chris made my day, however, and I thank him for it.
