Any idea how much of this construction is due to illegals? Any idea how many illegals are working construction? Not even close to a joke, but it is seeming more and more like a conspiracy.

State construction projects have got to be the biggest waste of time and money. I would love to dig around and see how much money is passed under the table on these deals.
Anyone ever wonder why it has taken 10 years to do that one to two mile stretch on I-35, just south of Hillsboro?

I can't see your pictures but if they are about street construction you are right on. I can't leave my house (in Houston) and go in any direction and not run into street constructions. I-10 is under major construction as is, Woodway, San Felipe, Memorial Dr and Voss. ARRRGGGGGGGGG! I'm trapped!

Love it, and so very true! I've given up on hoping I'd ever see a time of no road construction.

The constantly torn-up roads is also a common site in Phoenix, Az. And what are they doing? Tearing up the roads to make it look like they are working? If a worker has something to do on the roads, it doesn't take 300 years to get it done. Just do it, and be done. Don't waste taxpayers money and patience by PRETENDING one is working. In reality, one is just leaching off the system...

Texas road work is a paradigm of efficiency and sped when compared to Illinois and Pennsylvania.
